agents use to maintain their listings, generate comps, market reports,
flyers, etc - that system is typically windows based, and does get it's
data from the main MLS system for that Realtor's region.
My understanding is you just want to show on your client's site only their
listings, not other people's listings - if that's the case, you'll probably
find the local software they use creates a local database file that gets
sinced up to the main MLS as needed....
So check that out - I know it's not as elegant as pulling an RSS or XML
feed from the main MLS system live over the web, however it could be just a
matter of exporting the needed data right from that localized software's
database file.
If it's only a couple listings it wouldn't be worth it - have the agent do
their own property entries in a web based form you create for admin. If
it's a dozen or two listings, could be a path to check into.
Alternately, it's about getting permission from the local MLS contact
person based on the fact that only that agent's stuff will be used.
