happened to one of my templates and it was causing a java class
instantiation error with no explanation of why. Deleted the template
and let it rebuild and it seems to be working fine.

I wonder if anyone here can comment on the use of special characters
(such as the umlaut) in xml documents... I for some reason can't get
them to work... even using xmlformat() or <![CDATA[ firefox mangles
the character and IE tells me the xml is broken. I thought ISO-latin
characters were fine in an xml packet as long as they weren't any of
the 5 characters escaped by xmlformat() was I wrong? ...
