web server document root?

coming from PHP where one can look at $_SERVER["DOCUMENT_ROOT"], I find it maddening that Cold Fusion does not offer that... I see the Server.RootDir but that tells me the home for ColdFusion, not the directory that serves as root for my web server, which is different.

have I missed something or is there some trick to this? anyone?
