You mean prior to asking for advice? In the example I gave it wouldn't
be running on the database -- you just draw one single query with all
your necessary data and then use a recursive CF function to create the
tree, so that should keep your dba happy. :) I've done this a number
of times myself actually... you can see one example in the onTap
framework forums at http://www.fusiontap.com/forum if you select a
topic and then select the "Top" or "Left" views which display the list
of messages in dhtml trees probably rather similar to what you need.
