If you think you ever might deploy the code to non-Windows platforms -
or even edit it on non-Windows platforms - then you might save
yourself some pain down the line by using Unix line feeds, yes.

Over the years, I've worked on Windows (from 3.1 onwards), Mac OS
(from 6.x onwards) and a couple of dozen different flavors of Unix,
and VAX VMS occasionally. I would never have been able to predict
where my code might end up running so I've tended to stick with Unix
line feeds where possible!
