I have missed the start of this thread, what is the reason for wanting
access 97 & Acces 2000 on the same machine?

If its because you want to develop using Access 2000, but the server in
which the Database goes too is Access 97 then there are a number of things
you can do.

1) You can install Access 97, and then install Access 2000. This will then
enable you to save back as a prior version. I don' recommend this as it is
to messy in conversions.

2) Install the latest mdac on the server to host the Database and then you
can just copy the file across without any hassles, and keep using Access
2000 for development.

I have never in my 5 years of Web Work come across a reason why you would do
what you are asking.
