It's not just you... I see <a href="" x>&a=z</cfif>"> all
the time and it just gives me hives. The option tag isn't quite so
bad, although if I'm able I always replace the cfif with an iif()
function call for that same reason.

Although in all the code I've been writing for myself recently it's
never an issue because all the html elements and attributes are
generated using functions and there's never a time when I hand-code
the html, so there's never an opportunity to put logic inside an html
tag.
