been the z-index and/or the visibility, can't be sure though. I'll post if I
get some sample code that shows otherwise.

Well I had a chance to look at all this and as it turns out that the
visbility settings have no impact whatsoever on the playing of the flash
movie. It will still run regardless of the visibility settings.
Second... Since I could not find a decent way create a DHTML menu that would
overide ( that is popup and over a flash object ), I decided to create a
flash version of the popup menu. Which of course worked like a charm in IE
but not in Mozilla. ( suprise, suprise ).
Mozilla it seems, hates the fact that I have two flash objects running with
one on top of the other...that is my converted to flash DHTML menu.
I didn't have many options.
