I can highly recommend Navicat > http://www.navicat.com/

It costs a little, but compared to all the time you'll spend messing
around with a variety of things in the free tools, it's well worth the
cost. It'll convert a whole Access DB at once, suggest the datatypes,
and give you an opportunity to edit everything both before and after
the conversion.

And it'll convert a MySQL DB into a variety of formats. I just bought
it and i'm very happy with it. Check it out.
