I found this tantalizing quote on the Macromedia website.
<quote>
Sharing snippets
You can share code snippets with other developers by giving them access to a shared folder on your machine or on another network machine.
To create a shared snippets folder:
1. Open Options > Settings > Locations.
2. In the Shared Snippets box, use the Browse button to navigate to the shared folder location and click OK.
3. In the Snippets panel, right-click and select Create Shared Folder.
The folder button changes color to show that it is shared.
Anyone with access to the shared folder can now add, edit, and delete snippets.
</qutoe>
But this apparently applies to Homesite and not Dreamweaver.
As best as I can tell, the best Dreamweaver offers is manual sharing.
<quote>
To share a snippet with other members of your team:
Find the snippet that you want to share in the Configuration\Snippets folder in the Dreamweaver MX application folder.
Copy the snippet to a shared folder on your computer or a network computer.
Have the other members of the team copy the snippet to their Configuration\Snippets folder.
Anyone with access to the shared folder can now add, edit, and delete snippets from the folder.
</quote>
Can anybody provide more insite into this? Is this the best Dreamweaver currently does? Manually copy and share snippet files? We can not create a common Snippet directory for all our team members to use inside Dreamweaver?
