recommend them very hightly. I have the opposite experience with
regard to tech support. You can always ring thru to a live person
(don't use the toll-free sales line. use the customer support line
and choose '3' from the list). They have a team on staff during the
day and usually one night guy from what I've seen. I've never had a
problem ringing thru to get to him if I needed to, and over the years
that has amounted to a fair number of just-shoot-me emergencies..
100% uptime in all the time I've been with them. I've had many
instances where I needed tech support and they've always been right on
the money. This includes not just fixing stuff but also doing add-ons
at convenient times to me rather than themselves.
One of the few providers where I've NOT seen them start out good and
slowly slide downward as they grew or whatever.
And all that for a price I just can't beat. I am managing a server
for a client who uses Crystaltech and they are the next best insofar
as pricing/features are concerned. A comparable config to mine is
still $100 per month more, although Crystaltech gives you 500mb of SQL
Server space... albeit on only one db.
Where else but Cybercon do you get 64 IP's for $10 monthly? Where 32
more come with the base server price? I have a block of 96 and can
have more if I need them. 2 NICs; one to my backup server, so I don't
get charged bandwidth for backups, although now that I get 100gb per
month per server I hardly care anymore.
