Thanks to everyone who not only told me how, but also why. This is awesome.
Yes, we want the session to be 52 days, or even longer. We don't think the
people using our site want to be bothered with "signing in" very often ...
and the variables I am going to store (if I can figure out how) are user
registration type things that shouldn't need refreshing any more frequently
than that.
