the document object. If you put a 1x1 image in the document at the
same place your anchor is now, you can compute the overall offset from
the top of the document to the image, and then use that as the
distance to scroll. Put it in your onLoad, after you show/hide
whatever layer you need, and you'll be dead on the money every time.
