The server has been fine until today. No code has changed. No
service packs or anything updated or removed on the server. The
database server is running fine.
My stats according to the Performance Monitor are that db queries are
taking about an average of 7msec to return, but page loads are taking
upwards of 20000msec and average about 7000msec. This is not normal
for this server.
I have one thought on what may be a culprit though. The site is an
e-commerce site that connects to Authorize.net, and, if you didn't
know, they are in the middle of a DDoS. I was wondering if this DDoS
against Authorize would somehow slow down CF. Maybe the connection it
tries to make to Authorize that is timing out 90% of the time is
hurting CF? At this point its my only idea. I was just wondering if
anyone else had any ideas.
