I recently was trying to log in to my online banking with Suntrust
(https://internetbanking.suntrust.com) and everytime I went to the page,
I got a blank page with a _javascript_ error in IE. When I opened the
_javascript_ error, the message said "Permission Denied" and the line it
referenced was doing a document.write command. I sent a message in to
Suntrust and they responded saying that Windows XP SP2 and the Google
toolbar cause that problem. I didn't have to remove the Google toolbar,
but it was specifically the "Auto Fill" option within the toolbar that
caused the problem. When I unchecked that option, the page loaded fine.
Anyone know why this is happening? I also wanted to let everyone know
so that if you're doing anything like this on your sites you can figure
out what it is.
FYI, I did assume that the problem I was having had something to do with
SP2 because I've had the toolbar for years without a problem and just
ran the SP2 update in the past few days, so I'm assuming there's
something causing problems there. Anyway, I just thought I'd share and
see if anyone knew details.
