scheduling pages

I have a page that needs scheduling and may take something like 2 � to 3 hours to complete. I could break this same page down into 11-12 smaller pages and schedule them individually; it would probably take similar time for the entire process. Does anyone know if it's better to have shorter jobs run or one long job?
