You can write a cookie using javascript which will be available the next
time you go back and forth... Just make sure you document.write your div
so you can dynamically read the cookie from javascript code.

g'day all!

if i have a div whose natural display property is none, and a button
click makes it go to display:inline.

how would i persist that state if the user hits the back button?
right now, it just hides and i have to hit the button again.
