Yes you can, and you can even use the CFID / CFTOKEN cookies that CF
sets to improve visit & user session tracking.
One gotcha to be aware of, tho: When WebTrends analyzes the logs, it
can be setup to retrieve the titles of each page from the webserver
(I think this is the default). In the process of doing that, it will
execute all of your CFM pages. On one (poorly designed) site that we
host, the CFM page that sent email conformation of orders was
executed by WebTrends for each order in that month. And since those
page requests were logged (with the order ID in the query string),
they ended up in the current month's logfiles. So... Each month,
every order to date was getting re-emailed. It took us a little
while & many an aggravated phone call from the customer to track that
one down....
