Do a UNION in the QoQ instead of a join. -----Original Message----- From: David Mineer [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, 21 October 2004 9:56 To: CF-Talk Subject: Re: Add the results of one query to another
Well, these two queries usually server two different purposes and I need them combined only in this situation. There will be times where I will want to use the two queries individually, so Instead of having 3 queries, each one individually plus the union I would rather just have two and combine them in the one case. I understand query of queries a little , but in this case I don't see how they would work. The example was given to join them based on a common id, but there will be no common id. I thought of qofq but... WIll it work in this case. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Purchase from House of Fusion, a Macromedia Authorized Affiliate and support the CF community. http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=36 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:4:182133 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/4 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:4 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.4 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
