SQL gurus,

 

We have two queries, one that uses WHERE COLUMNNAME IS NULL and one
using the ISNULL(columnname, 0) = 0.  Both return different results.
The query with the IS NULL seems to disregard that clause and bring back
everything.  If you "SET ANSI_NULLS OFF" before the "IS NULL" query, it
works fine.

 

What is the deal?
