I believe I'm safe here because this was openly discussed at MAX.

Flash Forms are just one option of the new form functionality in Blackstone.  I 
see it as kind of the "Easy" option.  With just a few parameters you can create 
a very nice multi-page form without JavaScript, ActionScript or Flash.  These 
are built in; of course this means not a lot of in-depth customization either.

The other option is XML.  Thus allowing the forms to be fleshed out with XSLT, 
CSS's big brother, this allows for a very high degree of customization.

If you don't have a chance to participate in the beta, you should diffently 
take a close look when the new version is released.  The new form features is 
one of the Top Three new features I'm really excited about. The new report 
functionality and Gateways being the other two.
