Dave, your customers may appreciate it if you check it out.  I've
worked in positions where I have to defend choices start to finish,
and not knowing anything about the competition or alternatives is
bound to come back and haunt you in the end.  At least check it out
enough to know what you don't like about it.

Why would it come with .NET?  Fast binary remoting comes with .NET. 
It's very very cool, but, well, you say you won't learn about it until
Bill gets a whiff of your gas.  Seriously man - I prefer MM products
over MS products.  I have to use both in my main job.  This makes it
much easier to sell MM based side work - I know both sides of the
game.

Dave's a smart guy and says good things - I'd read them carefully
instead of reacting brashly.  I think I took a CF class from him once,
but it may have been Flash.
