Scott,
I have a very similar situation (I think) in which a second jsessionid is 
created when displaying a home page from a directory e.g. 
http://www.myhost.com/homedir/ - and the second session means that the session 
vars that were initially created are gone.

Have you found anything to help work around this? Any leads at all - I've been 
looking everywhere.
