As far as I understand it you cannot set and read from a cookie from the
same call to a page. So you need to set it and then read from the cookie on
every call after that. This should be ok because when you make the first
call to a page CF includes CFId and TOKEN in the URL so state is maintained.
At least I think this is the case!

I have a program that creates a cookie and sets it.
how do I retrieve that information when a person comes back to the site?
