Well, yeah. I never really understood what that IE "Automatically" cache setting was supposed to do besides make the user feel good. It really doesn't do what you'd expect it to. On my workstations, I always change that default setting (when I have to use IE instead of FireFox or Netscape) to "check every time". But since I was installing software on a server, I don't normally use the browser on that server.
