I have several friends who could not find new CF jobs and had to switch to .NET in order to stayed employed. Interesting enough, a few of those are now having to switch to Java in order to stay employed. Seems like it is always something else that one has to learn to stay on top of things, just a matter of figuring out which technology is going to last and which will either fail or not pay much so not be worth the effort.
