We have an NT Server (SP5) running CF 4.01 Pro. For no apparent reason, we
are receiving the following error in Dr. Watson:
An application error has occurred
and an application error log is being generated.
cfserver.exe
Exception: access violation [0xc0000005],Address 0x0054ef3a
This causes the CF server to stop responding. We rebooted the system twice
and reinstalled CF twice and are still getting the same error. When we try
to uninstall CF, we cannot stop the CF service. It times out. This forces
us to reset the service to manual, and then, uninstall CF. Can anyone shed
light on this urgent problem? I can provide the Dr. Watson log with the
memory dump, if necessary.
