My favorite was when I was trying to get a candidate to talk about CF optimization. He kept talking about the database, which I granted him, but I wanted CF. So I asked "Let's assume for a moment that your application doesn't connect with a database at all, what are some of the optimization concerns you might have?" He looked me square in the eye and said "ColdFusion can't work without a database" Of course, according to his resume, he was a an "expert" in CF with more than 4 years experience.
