I have done this on my site minus the caching. I have had no problem with serving out compressed webcontent save for ISA servers http filter stripping the gzip accept encoding header. Perhaps the problem is with the caching of the cfchart images. I believe mine is set up purely in a default way, though the queries which build the charts are largely cached. Maybe something like that could help you get the gzip encoding working. I absolutly love compression, shrinks a 100kb cfm file down to about 9kb. Much quicker serving over my slow link :-) John

I would like/need to run compression with caching because I've already received feedback from our numerous 56k users and they are absolutely happy with change in performance, and the option to reduce bandwidth costs makes me really happy.
