Let me guess, you're using a web-mail client? ... Or possibly Outlook
or AOL...

That's always bothered me about web-mail clients -- the problem isn't
with the email, it's with the client. An intelligent web-mail client
would htmleditformat() the email if it's not being sent as an html
email. I have yet to see one that does -- they're all stupid. Yahoo's
might be okay about that now -- I'm not sure, I haven't used it in a
while -- I think I remember Tiff saying there was a setting for it in
their preferences.

Though the real problem is that valid email shouldn't ever contain
HTML, so it should be safe to blanketly htmleditformat() the entire
email without worrying about losing any formatting... oh well... too
late now.
