I've done this in the past by setting the table background to the underlying image, and then drawing the overlaying image in the table as an <img>
This doesn't work for watermarking (since you want the overlay to be part of the image in case of "save image as"), but if you are just looking for visual effect, this works fine. In the new, modern world of CSS, there are a number of ways to handle this as well. I'll look at both options - it may look tidier if i did it on the fly but could be server heavy. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Discover CFTicket - The leading ColdFusion Help Desk and Trouble Ticket application http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=48 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:4:189248 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/4 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:4 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.4 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
