However when you collect several years of worth stats from something like this it becomes much more interesting (at least to me). I've got the logs from the past four (or maybe five years) for this site. The trends visible across them relating to browsers, monitor resolutions, search engine popularity and the like are pretty interesting (again, at least to me). Lastly saving the logs means I've got some great test cases for statistics engines. For example the log file for the last week of December run about 13Gig total.
