Sorry for the off-topic. I'm working on a CF app that collects the number of steps that people take daily and using an average, works out the miles. We're walking around the world, virtually, using our pedometers. We've gone from Washington DC to San Diego to Vancouver and I was able to use Mapquest the whole time to work out the miles and the connecting cities. Now that we're in Vancouver, we want to walk our way through the Bering Strait, past customs, to Russia (making a left at Fairbanks, Alaska). Unfortunately, I can't find any maps that show russia well but more to the point, I've not been able to find a service comparable to mapquest that will give me the distance between towns. So does anyone have anything for this? It needs to be detailed enough to be able to do small towns as alot of them that we may come across or need may be small.
Also, in the short term, anyone know the name of a russian town near the edge of the bering strait? It might facilitate searching.
