You are not using fully qualified paths. You use relative paths. Try using fully qualified paths and see if that works out for you.
For the Javascript suggestion, forget it. Some smart kids once showed the functionality but it only works through ActiveX, and you need to set security to low settings to make it work (or acknowledge dialogs requesting the client for permission to the ActiveX resource).
