We have MX 6.1 with Updater 1 installed on Solaris with only JRun Updater 2 installed, and all's fine. The only gotcha we had when we recently upgraded our test servers to Updater 4 was that we had to recompile the web connector from source (it's in the wsconfig.jar file). However, I should note that we had a full install of JRun installed and then installed ColdFusion as a WAR archive into the server instances -- we didn't use the integrated ColdFusion/JRun option.
