CFMX is rock solid on Linux, heavily loaded or not.  I've not run BD
under heavy load, but it seems to be quite stable as well.  Your are
correct in assuming MS Access won't work, but any database that
supports JDBC connections (including MS SQL Server) will work.  There
are some functional differences between windows an linux with CFMX,
but they're generally no big deal.  Not sure about BD, but I doubt it.
 Of bigger concern is the differences between CFMX and BD, if you
still haven't decided one way or the other, because they are more
significant.
