Its true you cannot assign key short cuts to snippets. You can make
"trigger text" which handle most case for example you can assign ab to
<cfabort> snippet and then type

ab[ctrl+i] and it will become <cfabort> - there are some other
features that go along with trigger text, and most basic key bindings
exist already (like ctrl+3, ctrl+shift+m ctrl+o (for cfoutput), etc),
but it is true you can just assign, say, ctrl+g to something.
