Depends on the Application i suppose. For a while, one one of the sites we run, because there were sections of code that didnt need access to session information or Application information (except Datasource which we hardcoded) our site ran CF and ASP.NET in tandem.
It depends on how you want to use dot net.... Matt Liotta and his company write a CFX interface for dot net so you could access components that way. If a component is written with COM in mind it possible to create COM objects which CF may be able to talk to...
