Odd indeed. From what I understand, Contribute actually uses the Dreamweaver
engine underneath the covers.

Also, you should be able to write any code that you write in HomeSite in
Dreamweaver.

That's very odd. I haven't had any trouble using Dreamweaver to create or
edit templates for Contribute sites. Perhaps you were creating files from
the templates - you can't edit anything outside the editable regions in that
case. (Of course, that's the point of using templates, I guess!)
