Every once in a while, emails in my spool folder do not get sent out.
Once a file gets 'stuck', no further emails are sent, they just keep
accumulating in the spool folder. The 'stuck' file cannot be manually
deleted until I stop the CF service... Delete the problem file... And
then restart the CF service.

When looking at the occasional 'problem file' I cannot find a common
denominator that would suggest a pattern.

Any clues?
