For what it's worth, I went to the trouble of downloading the developer edition (for Windows) (282.4 MB worth) and couldn't get past the "Extracting Files" (the very first thing), because it kept asking me to choose a new location to extract the files [on a drive which has 49GB of free space]. So, now I have the pleasure of downloading the Trial version, hoping it's actually different and works.
