I do this binder/printer method for a number of things. It tends to lead to a paper mess for me but I do it none the less when it is the best option or only option to have the material printed. Now for quick references I usually prefer something online that can be easily searched. If I want to read/learn something, I prefer it on paper than a screen. It would be nice to get the books on a CD(or online) so they could easily be searched, I honestly have not read one of Ben's CF books since I guess it was version 3(just remember the book being yellow/white), but I do from time to time reference the later books.
