This was posted earlier with no response. Is that because no one has any idea
as how to solve this
or is it so simple that I am just too close to the project. I would appreciate
some feedback from some
of the experts out there.

Once my users dynamically build reports to screen (have already done this), via
a "print" button (CF_PRINT), I then send them to a .cfm that formats the report
for a printer and brings up the printer interface window where the user must tab
to choose "landscape" for the initial report. I would like to add the following
functionalities:
a) do a "clean" print to the printer without apparently leaving the
application, i.e. omit the header/footer that is automatically placed on the
page by the browser; and
b) set the page print default to landscape programatically.
Basically generate the report as if it did not come from a browser.
Any help or ideas would be appreciated.
