I have to be honest, I really wish people would use more caution when making this sort of comment. MX 7 isn't "essentially and upgrade and bug fix over 6.1." Yes, the core engine is built on top of 6.1 and might just be hotfixed and updates, but people seem to be forgetting that there's a new chopped down Flex engine to support Flash forms, a new Verity engine, a new reporting engine, the setup/configuration has changed, at least for the J2EE version (for the better mind you, but it's still different), just to name a few, and they each potentially have their quirks and certainly might use up more system resources. To make assumptions about what other peoples' setups/environments are and simply say "it's just an upgrade" is purely speculative and can cause unnecessary headaches. Please don't take this as a direct comment to you Michael (I genuinely mean is as a general statement), as yours is only one of the several I've seen on this since Monday's release. I'm just of the opinion that any upgrade between major versions of a product should be approached with a great deal of caution and planning.
