My Toshiba Tecra 8100 is dying on me and I'm looking for a new windows laptop to develop on. Among a ton of other software, I'd like to run CF server, SQL server, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Photoshop, Acrobat Publisher, etc. In other words, I need a powerful machine with a decent graphics card. Will run XP Pro and possibly some flavor Linux. In terms of what's most important, I'm looking for power, reliability, battery life and weight in that order. I like Dell's for running Office app's but not for developing on. I am partial to Toshiba and am curious about Sony and Fujistu.
Any recommendations appreciated. Off-list is fine as this is clearly OT.
