Yeah - I run it on top of XP. Last night I installed SUSE 9.2 into a VM
(at home) and here at work I've got SUSE 9.2 running as well as 2 Win 2K
machines, all on top of XP.

You don't have to reboot you just run whatever machines your resources
will allow.

It depends on what you want. I need to preserve the integrity of my
machine so I use VM Ware as its quite benign in terms of the main OS.

Subject: ot: vmware ?

how exactly does this vmware work?
is it better than a dual boot? and can you switch between os's without
rebooting?

 thanks
