You should get in touch with MM directly. We did this a while back when we
bought 6 MX 6 licenses and needed to downgrade to 5. It took an eon to sort
as Macromedia lawyers were allegedly involved.

Hi Neil,

Do you have any further info on how to do it?

Thanks,

You can do this, but it is a really convoluted process involving
Macromedia......and sometimes you never get an answer as obviously they are
trying to (force) get you to upgrade to 7 ASAP.

Subject: CFMX 7 Downgrade?

Does anybody know if you are allowed to downgrade your license? I have a
client who wants to purchase CFMX 7, but wants to run CFMX 6.1 for a limited
time instead until he has completed extensive testing on this platform. Does
MM allow downgrade from a license (and if yes, how would you obtain the
correct serial?)

Thanks for any input,

Stefan
