Would this drive-mapping technique do anything like what WebDrive (WebDrive.com) does?
I've been looking for a way to have an FTP network drive (Internet-based) show up in my list of drives, rather than under Network Places, which also causes it to show up under Internet Explorer and confuses clients. The typical FTP Network Place seems to be a little finicky about its connections, also... Sorry to butt in on the conversation, but this seemed like it *might* have something to do with what I've been trying to do... Also, been trying to figure out WebDAV, but haven't gotten far with that either... This username and password are different from the > username and password of newUserAccount. No, it won't work if you're using different credentials than those of the account itself.
