ok open up flash and see if HELP > WELCOME TO FLASH REMOTING is there, if it is its installed
the as. files will be in C:\Program Files\Macromedia\Flash MX 2004\en\First Run\Classes ---------------------------------------- From: Mike Kear <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Friday, February 18, 2005 9:00 PM To: CF-Talk <[email protected]> Subject: Re: Flash Remoting remains as elusive as ever Well at last something worked. I downloaded Dave's zip file again and it opened. I double clicked the flash remoting components and they seemed to install ok. For such a simple thing I feel an amazing sense of triumph. At last I have forced that *(&[EMAIL PROTECTED] FLASH to do something I want it to,even if all it is doing is installing components. Stil haven't found any remoting core .as files such as NetServices.as or DataGlue.as. or am I supposed to be writing those myself? They arent anywhere on my hard drive after installing the remoting components.
