Allaire was East Coast and the server product folks are still in Newton, MA (nice facility). Macromedia has always been West Coast with all the tool product folks pretty much concentrated here in San Francisco, as well as IT, HR, finance & operations etc. As for the conferences: New Orleans, Salt Lake City, Orlando... not sure I'd class those as East Coast (except maybe Orlando and that was 2002). The former Allaire DevCon conferences were probably all East Coast, yes? And CFUN / CFUNITED is East Coast because that's where the organizing company is based. FWIW, the Salt Lake City MAX was originally scheduled for San Diego and I keep hearing that the West Coast is due for a MAX conference some time soon (but I have no idea about where it will be held this year). > > Did HQ change recently....or am I confused with good old Allaire?
